Microsoft Digital Image Suite

Enrich Learning and Support Creative Thinking with Digital Images

View, organise, and share digital photographs in new and interesting ways with the Microsoft Digital Image Suite. Search and retrieve any picture from your collection and integrate it into presentations, tests, and teaching materials.

Using the Microsoft Digital Image Suite, students can create dramatic effects with pictures captured using a digital camera, or scanned into a computer from a hard copy or transparency. Images taken on a field trip, for example, can be turned into a photo diary presentation. In addition, students can use pictures to enhance the school Web site, contribute to a newsletter, or simply express themselves creatively.

Teachers can use the Digital Image Suite to encourage visual learning in students. Using images as analogies or metaphors, you can clarify complex topics, or help students to remember details about new subjects. Alternatively, use images taken from previous field trips to plan future visits and show students what they can look forward to.

You can load images quickly from virtually any source, such as digital cameras, mobile phones, or memory cards, and manage and view them in Digital Image Suite. Use Outlook Mail to send images to teachers or classmates, or enrich Word reports or PowerPoint presentations with your own pictures.
