After reading some student comments on David Platt's classes like several "...best class I've ever had", we knew that this was not your average class at Harvard University. David taught the first Windows, COM and .NET programming courses at Harvard. Current class offerings include .NET for Existing Microsoft Three-Tier Programmers and .NET Web Programming.


Scott Guthrie

Scott Guthrie

Scott Guthrie co-founded the ASP.NET Team, and leads the design team responsible for architecting the product. His individual contributions include: ASP.NET Web Forms Page Architecture, ASP.NET Web Services Infrastructure, ASP.NET Compilation System, ASP.NET Distributed Session State Infrastructure, ASP.NET Deployment Architecture, ASP.NET Reliability System, and the ASP.NET HTTP Runtime Architecture. Prior to ASP.NET, Scott was a member of the IIS and Windows NT development teams.


Dave Webster

Dave Webster

Dave Webster is a Developer Evangelist for Microsoft EMEA. He has worked on many development projects in the New England area as a Microsoft Principal Consultant for enterprise customers and ISVs before returning to the UK in 2003. His projects have been primarily in C++ and latterly C# and VB.Net and have used most of the platform technologies from Microsoft including Biztalk, Exchange, COM/DCOM amd MTS/COM+. Dave also worked on the very first Microsoft Digital Dashboard in the late 1990's. He has a particular passion for working with ISVs and was part of the first dedicated ISV team in Microsoft Consulting Services in the US. Dave has contributed to many conferences including Dev Days and TechEd Europe.


Brian Goldfarb

Brian Goldfarb

Brian Goldfarb is a Product Manager on the Web Platform and Tools team at Microsoft. Over the last few years, Brian has been focused on helping drive the direction and strategy behind Microsoft's latest set of Web development technologies, including ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and Visual Web Developer Express Edition. Brian graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Economics from Duke University.
