Joined Microsoft in 1999 with the Internet Customer Unit addressing the growing Internet Services marketplace. Spent five years with the division as it grew into the Microsoft Hosting Solutions Unit Group. Joined the EMEA HQ DPE Technical Evangelism Group in March 2005 as a Hosting Evangelist. |

Lachlan Cash
Lachlan is a technology specialist focused on Solution Architecture for MBS (Microsoft Business Solutions). His focus is on developing ISV (Independent Software Vendors) partners building vertical solutions. He has spent the last eleven years in the IT industry focused on the delivery of software based accounting systems in a variety of different industries. He joined Navision in 1999 working on product localisation and development and now works with Microsoft Business Solutions.

Arvindra Sehmi
Arvindra is Lead Architect in Microsoft EMEA Developer and Platform Evangelism Group. He focuses on enterprise software-engineering best practice adoption throughout the EMEA developer and architect community and leads Architecture Evangelism in EMEA for the Financial Services Industry where his current interest is in high performance asynchronous computing architectures. The highly regarded EMEA Architects Forum is a multi-country conference that he has led for the past two years. Arvindra conceived, produced and is the executive editor of JOURNAL, the new Microsoft Architects Journal which is a quarterly peer-reviewed publication for software architects.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Arvindra was CTO at Agility, a Boston-based start-up, where he designed knowledge management systems for Private Client Banking and consulted on original technology projects for Financial Institutions in the area. As Principal Consultant at Capco Ltd., he developed new software architectures for securities settlement, transaction flow and event management, and real-time compound data reconciliation. During this time he was lead-architect for an industry-first global B2B utility service for cross-border securities settlements. Before he discovered .NET and a life at Microsoft, Arvindra was a serious Java/J2EE hack and continues to do extensive work on competitive technology strategy at Microsoft.
Arvindra holds a Ph.D. in Bio-medical Engineering and a Masters degree in Business.

Hans Verbeeck
Hans is a Senior Developer Evangelist within the EMEA .Developer Platform Evangelism Group. His focus is on working with Independent Software Vendors and customers looking to adopt Visual Studio Team System and SQL Server 2005 as part of their solutions. He has been working on end-to-end .NET architecture and prior to joining Microsoft, he was a Visual Basic developer and a trainer on enterprise development and SQL Server.

Dave Webster
Dave is a Developer Evangelist for Microsoft EMEA. He has worked on many development projects in the New England area as a Microsoft Principal Consultant for enterprise customers and ISVs before returning to the UK in 2003. His projects have been primarily in C++ and latterly C# and VB.Net and have used most of the platform technologies from Microsoft including Biztalk, Exchange, COM/DCOM amd MTS/COM+. Dave also worked on the very first Microsoft Digital Dashboard in the late 1990's. He has a particular passion for working with ISVs and was part of the first dedicated ISV team in Microsoft Consulting Services in the US. Dave has contributed to many conferences including Dev Days and TechEd Europe. |

Beat is employed as an Architect for Microsoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). In this capacity, he is supporting and consulting large companies in software architecture related topics and is a frequent speaker at international events and conferences. He has more than 13 years of experience in professional software development and architecture and was involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from real-time building control systems, best selling shrink-wrapped products to large scale CRM and ERP systems. For the last 3 years, his main focus was in the area of Service Orientation and Web Services.
