Open License has a two year term. You can start a new Open License agreement with a Microsoft Reseller if you are purchasing at least 5 tools or one MSDN subscription product. If your IT department has an existing Open License agreement you can simply ask the agreement owner in your IT department to purchase developer products under that agreement. |
Open Value
Open Value has a three year term. You can start a new Open Value agreement with a Microsoft Reseller if you are purchasing one or more MSDN subscription products. If your IT department has an existing Open Value agreement you can simply ask the agreement owner in your IT department to purchase developer products under that agreement. |
Select License
Select License has a three year term. Your IT department may have a Select agreement with Microsoft if you have a minimum of 250 desktops. If so, you should ask the agreement owner in your IT department to add developer products to this agreement in order to get them at competitive rates. |
Enterprise Agreement
