Microsoft Local and Regional Forum, April 22-23
More than 250 local and regional government elites, IT professionals and executives gathered in Bilbao, Spain this week for Microsoft Corp.’s third annual Local and Regional Government (LRG) Solutions Forum. The forum is a unique showcase for Local and Regional government executives and practitioners to experience the impact of innovative technology on the delivery of local government services world-wide.
The forum’s key theme reflects the global challenges facing local and regional government across Europe with a particular reference to the EU i2010 objective of creating sustainable and efficient citizen services. The forum will showcase the pioneering milestones achieved by Microsoft partners and customers in meeting productivity and efficiency goals through the use of innovative ICT.
