At CeBIT 2006, in Hanover, Germany, 9-15 March, Microsoft Germany is exhibiting at Stand A38, Hall 4 under the theme “Ready for Success”. As in previous years, on the first day of the trade fair Microsoft will report its objectives for the show and present current innovations. This year, the company is focusing on the two main elements of the new Microsoft Desktop: Windows Vista and Microsoft Office 2007. Microsoft representatives will also talk about the latest developments in security, and using a mock company called “Contoso” they will showcase the ability of Microsoft software to support staff in a variety of roles as they perform their daily tasks. For members of the press there will be a press conference “Microsoft 2006 – Ready for Success” on Thursday 9 March 2006, 11.00 a.m. to noon in the Paris/Brussels areas (Hall 1). Christoph Wilfert, COO Microsoft Deutschland GmbH, will lead the event and English language translation will be provided.
