This week at Sibos 2008 in Vienna, Microsoft Corp.’s Financial Services Group is announcing a number of new customer agreements and implementations that will allow these financial institutions to achieve better and more effective connectivity to SWIFT. The announcements, from customers across the globe, are in the areas of payments operations and SWIFT connectivity and address industry issues such as SEPA compliance and risk management. Microsoft’s technologies that enable SWIFT connectivity also allow organizations to take advantage of industry standards such as XML and ISO 20022.
