Day of Giving, New Orleans, July 2009
“Gathering in New Orleans in anticipation of the Worldwide Partner Conference which kicked off on 13 July, Microsoft and some of its global partners including those from Central and Eastern Europe took the opportunity to get involved with the local community. Meeting on Sunday 12 July, the intrepid group set about renovating a community building for local use, painting inside and making banners and other decorations to change the whole look and feel of the place. Outside, others got into a spot of gardening, weeding and digging the flowerbeds. Partners from Serbia, Croatia and Latvia, amongst others, happily donned the WPC overalls and got to work in a fun and rewarded day out.”
