This is certain to be very informative session. The complexities associated with today's distributed IT systems are driving businesses to spend as much as 70 to 80 per cent of their IT budget just to maintain what they have. In addition to driving up the costs of operations, the complexity of these systems is at the source of many challenges across the entire IT life cycle. Design of new systems requires considerable time and cross-team coordination. Deployment of new systems requires new hardware acquisition and involves multiple iterations with development teams to troubleshoot configuration and functionality issues. Management of distributed systems still happens primarily at the element, not system, level and management considerations are typically thought about only after a new system has been deployed. Although many of these problems are experienced more acutely by large, enterprise customers, small and medium-sized businesses are also facing the challenges of increasing complexity in their IT infrastructures. Come to find out the latest news of how Microsoft is continuing to deliver on the promise of self-managing dynamic systems through its commitment to the Dynamic Systems Initiative.
