2008 The Joy of Writing Code in Visual Studio 2010 (Karen Liu) Do you often wish there was an easier way to find and navigate to a type in your code? Or that the IDE would let you consume an API when it doesn't exist and take care of "setting up" the code? Join Karen Liu, Lead Program Manager of the Visual C# and Visual Basic IDEs, as we take a look at the new IDE features in Visual Studio 2010 that are designed to make you more productive in a number of areas in the development lifecycle. This talk will focus on Visual C# and Visual Basic and describe what's coming next in Visual Studio, including better navigation, tools for understanding code and a focus on consume-first development.
