Brad Anderson is general manager of the Management and Solutions Division at Microsoft Corp. His responsibilities include oversight of product strategy and development for the management technologies in Microsoft® Windows® Client and Microsoft Windows Server® operating systems, the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack for Software Assurance, and the Microsoft System Center family of products, including System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager and System Center Virtual Machine Manager. Anderson brings over 15 years of experience to lead the execution of Microsoft’s Dynamic Systems Initiative, a commitment from Microsoft to deliver self-managing dynamic systems that enable information technology organizations to capture and use knowledge to design more manageable systems and automate ongoing operations, resulting in reduced costs and more time to focus on what is most important to the organization.
Before joining Microsoft in 2003, Anderson spent 12 years at Novell, most recently serving as vice president and general manager of the ZENworks product line. Anderson graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University in design engineering, and also completed his MBA at BYU, graduating with honors.
Outside of work, Anderson enjoys spending quality time with Kim, his wife for 19 years, and their five children, ages 4 to 14.
