The European Microsoft Innovation Center (EMIC) located in Aachen, Germany, is one of the main Microsoft facilities dedicated to research and development in Europe.

The incubation and innovation research and development lab comprises a team of about 40 international scientists and developers who focus on enhancing computer science and seek to apply developments in areas such eHome, eHealth, eLearning, and eBusiness.
