Subscribe, don’t buy

With Office 365, your software is always up to date and Microsoft takes care of the servers in its own secure data centers. Instead of an upfront purchase price, you pay a monthly per-user subscription fee.

With some plans, this includes the right to download and use Microsoft Office applications on up to five devices per user so you can install Word, Excel and PowerPoint on, say, a laptop, a PC at home, a tablet and your office computer.

Online services

Office 365 also includes a range of online services that let you connect with colleagues and customers. For example, you can build a public website and a private company intranet using SharePoint. It also includes business class email so you can send messages from your own company email address.

Anywhere, any device access

One of the most powerful features of Office 365 is the way it lets you access your documents, calendar and email from virtually any internet-connected device. You can edit a Word document in a web browser on a client’s PC then make more changes using your smartphone on the way back to the office and then continue editing it in Word on your office PC.
