Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) should continuously evaluate their marketing as they aim to secure the greatest possible return on investment.

According to the Blackpool Gazette, businesses cannot afford to stop at searching for the best broadband deal - they need to ensure their website is delivering on every front.

"[Business leaders] need to be asking how else you can improve your operation," the news provider stated

"You may love your website and feel it gives your customers the best experience, but there is always room for improvement."

The news provider said firms need to look at their sites analytically and assess what can be improved.

It added that internet business should always evolve, so firms need to ensure their websites continue to do so as well.

The Blackpool Gazette commented that "content is king" - meaning SMBs need to offer the best possible online experience to their customers.

"Make sure each page - even product pages - has unique content," the news provider urged.

"Don't just copy it across - make sure each is individual to that page. It could make all the difference to how you rank in search engine results."
