Your Privacy in Nokia Account
Both Nokia and Microsoft Mobile are independent data controllers for Nokia Account.
What does this mean?
Certain services from each of Nokia and Microsoft Mobile use Nokia Account to . help you manage your content and preferences. If you create a Nokia Account, information about your device and service activations, use of products and services and your other transactions may be combined with your Nokia Account information to enable better personalisation of your experience. With your consent, information collected through voluntary research and improvement programs may also be combined with your account. If you log in to our services using credentials of other services, such credential information is used to identify and manage your information and interactions in our systems.
Going forward, both parties may help you with choosing the account of your preference to access their products and services.
If you need to update or access your Nokia Account profile, for example your email address or phone number or to unsubscribe from receiving newsletter and promotions, you may continue to do so through the Nokia Account profile management.
Also, if you want to otherwise exercise your privacy rights relating to Nokia Account, you may contact either Microsoft Mobile or Nokia and your request will be acted upon according to law and the privacy policies applicable to Nokia Account.
