Nokia Asha: Browse the Web

Catch up on the news, and visit your favourite websites on the go.

Tip: If your network service provider doesn't charge you a fixed fee for data transfer, to save on data costs, use a Wi-Fi network to connect to the internet.

Tip: If you don’t want to allow your kid to access the internet, you can set a passcode. Tap Settings icon Settings > Restrictions, switch Restrictions on On icon, and type in a passcode.

  1. Tap Browser icon Internet.
  2. Write the web address in the address bar, and tap Done icon.

    Tip: To search the internet, write a search word in the address bar. If asked, select your default search engine.

Zoom in or out

  1. Place two fingers on the screen, and slide your fingers apart or together.

    Tip: To view the page in a single column of larger, readable text and pictures without having to zoom in, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, tap More > Settings, and switch Column view on On icon.

Share a web page

  1. When browsing, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, and tap Share and how you want to share.

    Tip: Follow your data usage with the Counters app.
