New opportunity for Microsoft partners to host Microsoft Dynamics solutions

Customers want to be able to choose from multiple flexible solution scenarios, licensing options, and deployment models to best fit their evolving business needs. Today, Microsoft service providers and Microsoft partners can deliver hosted and subscription-based Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM applications to their customers under a subscription licensing model via the Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement.

Give customers more choices

Microsoft service providers and Microsoft partners can come together now to offer customers more choices from a number of accommodating software licensing and deployment scenarios, based on their business needs and budget. Plus, your customers will have the flexibility to mix and match—essentially, to combine the deployment options with the payment options they want.

Offer multiple deployment options

Customers can choose from the following deployment options for Microsoft Dynamics solutions:

  • On-premises hosting. Your customers host their Microsoft Dynamics solutions at their own location, on their own servers, just as they would with any other traditional business application.

  • Service-provider hosting. A service provider hosts a customer's Microsoft Dynamics solutions remotely, from the service provider's premises. Customers can access these hosted applications over the Internet.

  • Hybrid hosting. Some of the elements of the customer's overall solution are hosted at the customer's location, while other elements are hosted at the service provider's location.

Provide flexible licensing options

  • Perpetual licensing. A customer licenses software from Microsoft outright or participates in financing from Microsoft Capital Corporation to offset the immediate costs, just as they would with any other traditional business application.

  • Subscription licensing. Microsoft partners can now leverage the availability of Microsoft Dynamics under the Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement program to deliver subscription-based offerings to their customers. Rather than paying to own the software, a customer pays for the software it needs on a month-to-month basis through a Microsoft service provider offering.

Note: Customers may combine deployment and licensing options according to their evolving business needs.

Get in on the ground floor of a new opportunity

By working with a Microsoft service provider, Microsoft partners and independent software vendors (ISVs) can begin delivering these new deployment and payment options to their Microsoft Dynamics customers. Increased flexibility for customers means a broader range of services offered, a wider geographic reach, and higher customer satisfaction for you.

The Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement program (SPLA) was designed based on direct feedback from our service provider partners. Through SPLA, service providers get access to the most current versions of the Microsoft Dynamics products available in the program—all for a competitive monthly price. And your customers get exactly the kind of solution deployment they want.
