SMS&P and Dynamics GBS - India Delivery is the end-to-end custodian of the Partner Audience Strategy within the CSS and collaborates immensely internally as ‘Co Delivery’ to deliver a differentiated experience to our partners across their sales cycle. It is a unique amalgamation of 3 different businesses - each one representing a specific ‘capability’ – Global Partner Services addresses the ‘breadth’ support & advisory services across the sales & deployment lifecycle, Dynamics Support addresses the ‘depth’ / break-fix support and the newest business of Cloud Partner Support addresses a very unique opportunity for ‘depth’ support for Cloud Partner Ecosystem. As a business, we work closely with the regional SMS&P and Dynamics Organization field teams to drive channel capacity, capability and commitment – in simple terms, basically building a healthy partner ecosystem that is able to compete successfully, increase the deal velocity, drive better yield (revenue) for Microsoft and help deploy quality solutions for customers.

The SMS&P and Dynamics Organization team is a key delivery arm of the MPN; It provides technical services to help Microsoft partners get enabled (“ready”), to sell, develop and deploy solutions through a pool of technical solution consultants spread across the globe. Our technical solution consultants have deep product knowledge as well as an understanding of technologies across the spectrum. The ability to scale and integrate various technologies enables them to deliver cutting edge solutions that help partners to increase revenue, accelerate the sales cycle, win more deals and gain market share from competitors. The Technical Consultants are also committed to building expertise & scalability of the partners ensuring that they are ready to respond to the changes in technology as well as the market. This in turn helps our partners successfully deliver high-quality solutions to their customers.

IO enables partners and customers to realize dramatic cost savings for their IT infrastructure by moving from an unmanaged environment towards a dynamic environment. The different IOs are:

Core Infrastructure Optimization (Core IO):

Accelerates adoption of latest Windows clients and Office systems to improve IT efficiencies with new technologies and tools that help optimize desktop infrastructure and lower IT costs.

Business Productivity Infrastructure Optimization (BPIO):

Focuses on streamlining the management and control of content, data and processes across all areas of a business. Simplifies how people work together, and makes processes and content management more efficient.

Application Platform Optimization (APO):

Focuses on a set of capabilities to help customers get better value by building scalable applications and delivery capabilities for large and complex initiatives.

Microsoft Dynamics:

Helps customers realize their ERP and CRM vision at optimal cost resulting in accelerated adoption of MS Dynamics products.

What it takes to be a part of the SMS&P and Dynamics Organization Team

Qualifications, abilities, and experience should include:

  • Must have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Higher relevant education preferred
  • Highly proficient & solid customer facing Project experience involving solution design, envisioning, planning, development and deployment in one of the areas (IOs) mentioned above
  • Must have a proven record of delivering technical solutions
  • At least 4-6 years of related technology experience
  • Having a MCSD/MCSE/MCAD is an advantage

Critical exposure areas

  • Possess the ability to verbally explain MS Solutions in English to North American Customers/Partner with clarity and precision
  • Possess ability to deliver MS solutions in writing via e-mail
  • Proactively understanding customer/partner needs and deliver services that enable them to be successful
