Microsoft India Development Center is one of Microsoft Corporation’s largest development centers outside the headquarters in Redmond. Based in a 54-acre sprawling campus in Hyderabad and a new facility in Bangalore, its vision is to become a world-class Microsoft R&D center, where top talent, a culture of innovation and engineering excellence come together to help people and businesses realize their full potential.
The product engineering initiatives of Microsoft India Development Center (MSIDC) span across five out of seven business divisions at Microsoft Corporation, namely Server and Tools Business (STB), Microsoft Office Division (MOD), Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS), Windows and Windows Live Division (WWLD) and Online Services Division (OSD).
As part of Microsoft’s strategy of global shared development, product teams at MSIDC have participated in the creation of features of key Microsoft products, eg Office, Windows, Visual Studio, developer tools for Windows Phone, Bing, etc, that impact millions of people around the world. They also actively engage with customers, partners and the developer community to gather feedback about their work to help Microsoft Corporation shape better products in future.
