This talk will help the Xbox 360 developer build a solid defense against hackers and cheaters. The talk provides an overview of current Xbox 360 security features such as XEX security, Network Security, and the new XGD3 CIV features. It will also give an overview of some known and hypothetical security attacks and cheats that are relevant to titles today. Furthermore, the talk will cover security best practices for designing secure systems, writing safe code, and protecting data against modification; and how to handle cheaters and griefers in your gameplay designs.
