Ms. Jessica Tan Soon Neo
Managing Director, Microsoft Singapore
Member of Parliament East Coast Group Representative Constituency (GRC)


As Managing Director for Microsoft Singapore, Jessica is responsible for developing and driving growth strategies for the Microsoft’s business in Singapore, as well as deepening relationships with partners, customers and employees.

She also focuses on leading Microsoft’s ongoing corporate citizenship efforts in the country which includes Microsoft’s efforts to becoming a trusted industry partner who works with businesses, communities and governments to help advance social and economic well-being.

Jessica joined Microsoft in 2003 as General Manager for the Enterprise and Partner Group in Asia Pacific and Greater China Region. She was responsible for driving Microsoft’s business with large customers in the region as well as partnerships with key Industry Solution Vendors, Service Providers and Business Partners as they relate to the Enterprise customers. In this role, she nearly doubled the business in three years.

In 2006, she took on the role as General Manager of Customer, Partner and Employee Experience (CPEE) for the Asia Pacific Region. She rose to the challenge of re-invigorating our Customer and Partner Relationships in the Asia Pacific Region. She also drove initiatives around Employee Readiness and Diversity to develop and attract the best talent pool for Microsoft and continue to make Microsoft a company where people can do their best work.

Jessica has nearly 20 years in the IT Industry, including 14 years with IBM, serving in various leadership positions in sales, services and strategic business development roles in Singapore and the Asia Pacific Region.

In May 2006, Jessica was elected as Member of Parliament in Singapore for the East Coast Group Representation Constituency (GRC). She is Chairman for the East Coast Town Council. Jessica is also Chairman for the Finance and Trade & Industry Government Parliamentary Committee (GPC) as well as Member of the Manpower GPC.

Jessica graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1989 with a Bachelors of Social Sciences (Honours). She majored in Sociology and Economics.

Jessica is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys jogging and cooking.
John Fernandes
Director, Marketing & Operations
Microsoft Singapore


John leads a team which oversees marketing, business operations, and strategy for the Singapore subsidiary. He divides his time between chief marketing and chief operating officer responsibilities. He’s passionate about driving subsidiary growth and business objectives as well as developing senior leaders. His teams are responsible for Customer & Partner satisfaction, product marketing, integrated marketing, digital marketing, public relations, community affairs, business operations, and compliance & controls.

Prior to this role, he was the Director of the Developer and Platform Evangelism team in Singapore. John was responsible for working with Singapore’s developer, academic, startup, and venture capital communities. The team’s focus is to use software to enable innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.

John has been at Microsoft for 15 years. He worked at Microsoft’s corporate headquarters in Redmond, Washington, where he led Microsoft’s Local Software Economy initiative, a global effort focusing on the development and growth of software economies through partnerships with government, academic, venture capital, and industry partners.

He previously spent four years in the Silicon Valley launching the Microsoft Emerging Business Team. This organization partners with venture capital and startup communities creating strategic business and technology alliances.

Fernandes’ international experience includes five years in the Middle East and Africa, where he ran Microsoft’s efforts in the early days of the Internet. Responsibilities included MSN, developer relations, and telecom, enterprise, and e-commerce sales over 20 countries.

John is a Canadian. He has a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Management, a TiE Charter Member, an advisor to startups, and to Pratham, a non-profit organization that builds education programs for under privileged children in Asia. John is also a member of the Engineering School Advisory Committee at Temasek Polytechnic. He lives with belief that the journey is the reward.
Stephanie Hung
Director, Public Sector Group
Microsoft Singapore


As the Director of Public Sector Group for Microsoft Singapore, Stephanie is responsible for developing and growing the business, building partnership and customer relationship in the Public Sector while enhancing Microsoft brand share and equity, and driving team effectiveness and execution excellence.

A well rounded and dynamic IT professional, Stephanie has 20 years of working experience in IT industry servicing clients from airlines and airports, banking and financial services institutions, to manufacturing and consumer packaged good industry, accumulated many years industry knowledge in the business and IT solution development and fulfillment. Prior to joining Microsoft, she was the Director of Client Management at Hewlett Packard Asia Pacific. She led the Asia client management team of a large outsourcing client in achieving significant account financial improvement, attaining high customer satisfaction and managing employee satisfaction and operational excellence. The team efforts in providing business and IT integration on one largest merger and acquisition has accelerated the business benefits of M&A integration and shortened the integration cycle.

Before HP, Stephanie has assumed various positions at IBM, she has led many different teams and engaged with a number of international and regional clients in developing business innovations with the use of technology and information technology services across the Asia Pacific, especially the emerging market such as China, and South-east Asia for complex system integration, large outsourcing engagement and business transformation initiatives. She was among the early batch of certified Client Executives that completed IBM Cohort Client Executive Certification program at Harvard Business School, Boston USA. She developed her passion in coaching and advocates as coach for others in excelling in client relationship management.

She holds a Master Degree of Business Administration with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Sidney Lim
Services Director
Microsoft Singapore


Sidney Lim is responsible for Microsoft Singapore's Services business which includes Premier Support Services which provides in-depth product expertise and Microsoft Consulting Services which provides thought leadership in the adoption and deployment of Microsoft technology.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Sidney was GM, SE Asia of Avanade, where he was responsible for their South-East Asia operations. He provided consulting and implementation services around the Microsoft platform. Before that, he was a Partner at PwC Consulting where he led their Public Sector Singapore practice and Application Innovation business across South Asia. He was also a Partner at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting responsible for their Technology Integration practice across South-East Asia.
Danny Chua
Finance Director
Microsoft Singapore


As Finance Director of Microsoft Singapore, Danny plays a key role in the senior leadership team by providing counsel on the overall business strategy and oversees the day-to-day financial operations. His role involves being a partner to the business , being involved in planning, business analysis, operations, and governance and control. Danny leads a team of four and is supported by a team of finance and accounting professionals located in shared services centres across the world.

Prior to this, Danny held the role the Enterprise & Partner Group (EPG) controller for Microsoft Asia Pacific, where he drove business insights and collaborated with subsidiaries across the region to achieve business results.

Before joining Microsoft, Danny worked for Teradyne, Inc, a leading semiconductor test equipment company, as a regional financial analyst supporting the Test Assistance Group (TAG) division. Three years with Teradyne in Asia culminated in Danny moving to the US to assume the position of the worldwide controller for the TAG division, where he spent the next 3 years.

Prior to joining Teradyne, Danny was in public accounting. He joined Coopers & Lybrand's Audit Division (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in 1993 and held a varied portfolio covering private as well as public-listed clients in industries including banking and financial, IT, retail and manufacturing.

Danny graduated from the Nanyang Technological University with a degree in Accountancy.
 
Ziriad Saibi
Director, Developer & Platform Evangelism Group

Ziriad Saibi is Director of Microsoft's Developer & Platform Evangelism (DPE) group, where he leads efforts to build a vibrant solutions ecosystem through evangelism, community engagement and technology marketing.

Prior to leading DPE in Singapore, Ziriad was a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft, working on distributed systems and emerging web technology when he joined in 2000. In 2003, he integrated the Developer and Platform organization as an evangelist where he successfully transitioned to a business development role. He then moved on to take the Sales and Marketing Lead position at Microsoft France where he built and grew the developer and platform business. Prior to joining Microsoft, Ziriad led a production and research team in the energy industry and later worked in Investment Banking in London City.

Ziriad is widely recognized for his leadership. He is a strong team and business builder with an uncommon blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking and business acumen.

In his free time, Ziriad enjoys travelling, water sports and photography. Ziriad holds a degree in physics engineering from Ecole Polytechnique, a master's degree in mathematics from Ecole Centrale de Paris and a master's in business administration from INSEAD Business School with a double major in finance and entreprenership.
  
Vincent Wong
Director, Small Mid-Market Solutions and Partner Group

Vincent Wong is the director of small, mid-market solutions and partner (SMS&P) group at Microsoft Singapore. Vincent is responsible for driving and growing Microsoft's business and share in the small to medium customer segment. He is also responsible for the Channel Strategy, developing and managing a vibrant partner eco-system and distribution for the Singapore market.

Vincent is an IT industry expert with more than 21 years of experience. He joined Microsoft in 2003 and most recently managed a team in the enterprise business in Microsoft Singapore for the last four years. Prior to joining Microsoft, Vincent held various roles in IBM and Cisco Systems from segment sales, country marketing, regional product management to regional sales operations.

Vincent holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science with double majors in Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of Western Australia and an Executive Master's Degree of Business Administration from the California State University. He enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid sports lover, particularly in golf, soccer and jogging.
  
Ruth Seah
Director, Enterprise & Partner Group

As Director of the Enterprise & Partner Group, Ruth leads Microsoft's enterprise business in driving strategy, revenue growth, market share and customer satisfaction. Ruth is committed to ensuring that Microsoft's enterprise customers realize the maximum business value from the IT investments based on their business partnership with Microsoft and its partners.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Ruth served 19 years in IBM Asia Pacific, ASEAN and Singapore. In the last year as Director of Integrated Technology Services, she led business planning and sales, marketing and services. Among her many notable accomplishments, significant improvements in customer satisfaction, enhanced regional integration and record sales growth stand out. During her time in IBM, Ruth contributed significantly to the talent and development program while building a high performance culture through effective coaching and sales disciplines, maintaining a highly motivated sales organization through retention, recognition and development for top talent.

Ruth holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from the National University of Singapore. She is married with three children and enjoys jogging, golfing and holidaying.
