Creating opportunities
Through a range of initiatives and partnerships, we’re helping young people discover a passion for tech and envision a future filled with possibility. Through our partnerships with Technolochicas, Girls Who Code, and NCWIT Aspirations in Computing, we’re carving new pathways to opportunity.
TECHNOLOchicas
TECHNOLOchicas is a national initiative of the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) and Televisa Foundation designed to raise awareness among young Latinas and their families about opportunities and careers in technology.
Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is an organization that values diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential to our mission.
NCWIT Aspirations in Computing
These skills lead the way for innovative solutions to long-standing problems at national and local levels. Given that technology increasingly permeates every aspect of society, experience in computing and technology is in high demand by virtually every industry.
Diversity takes us all farther
We work to foster a tech community made up of people with many different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds. A range of employee programs helps advance inclusion, and we partner with suppliers who are committed to increasing diversity throughout their organizations.
Diverse teams positively impact our company culture, working environment and how we serve our customers.
Neurodiversity hiring program
Through this program, applicants engage in an extended interview process that focuses on workability, interview preparation, and skill assessment. Our process gives candidates the opportunity to showcase their unique talents while learning about Microsoft as an employer of choice.
Microsoft Leap
We know there are many pathways into the technology industry and into our organization. We’re constantly looking for new ways to create unconventional entry points for talent and leverage the skills and experiences of talent from outside the traditional academic paths.
MSSA
Microsoft Software and Systems Academy (MSSA) provides transitioning service members and veterans with critical technical and career skills required for today’s growing technology industry.
Diversity & Inclusion
We believe in the transformative power of engaging many different perspectives.
Inside Microsoft
