Applications for Microsoft Surface v1.0 or Microsoft PixelSense™ can respond to objects that are marked with byte tags, which can specify 256 unique values. Every Microsoft Surface 1.0 developer unit includes two sets of 256 stickers–two stickers for each byte tag value. This download provides four resources to help you print additional byte tags that you need:
      • A Microsoft Office Visio document with labels on the tags for easy identification and a clean layout. Use these tags for printing because the Visio document ensures the proper dimensions when the tags are printed.
      • A ZIP file with all 256 byte tags as PNG files at 300 dpi resolution, for printing individual tags or adding them to your designs.
      • An HTML version of the Visio document for easy reference. Do not use this document for printing tags because there is no way to ensure that your Internet browser is printing them at the proper size.
      • A PDF document with all 256 byte tags, for easy portability of a full set of tags.
Note: To learn about important printing requirements for byte tags, see the Microsoft Surface Administration Guide.
