      This release is a managed implementation of the Ribbon for WPF. The Ribbon is a command bar that organizes the features of an application into a series of tabs at the top of the application window, is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need to complete a task. The Ribbon user interface (UI) increases discoverability of features and functions, enables quicker learning of the application, and helps users feel more in control of their experience with the application. The Ribbon replaces the traditional menu bar and toolbars.

  • Install Instructions

      To install this download of Microsoft Ribbon for WPF:
      1. Install .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 and/or .NET Framework 4.0 on your computer.

      2. Click on the Download on this page to start the download.

      3. To save the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save.
      4. To start the installation to your computer click Run.
      5. To cancel the installation, click Cancel.

      Repair:
      If you install Visual Studio 2010 or Blend 4 after you’ve installed this package, please be sure to re-run the MSI to enable the design-time support.
      1. Select the repair option during the installation process.

      2. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
