Also available is the WssExt64Bit installer which provides the ability to install the Team Foundation Server WSS extensions into a 64-bit WSS instance. The RTM version of the WssExt installer that ships with Team Foundation Server 2008 does not support 64-bit WSS sites.

The Best Practices Analyzer and Power Shell Extensions require:

Some of the tfpt.exe commands require Team Foundation Server 2008 Team Explorer SP1 to be installed.
Download and run tfpt.msi and follow the instructions. For this release all previous versions of the Power Tools must be uninstalled. The installer will attempt to do this for you. If the Power Tools were installed by other users accounts on you machine then you will be prompted to log in as those users and uninstall. Please refer to the TFS Power Tools Uninstall Instructions (July 08 and earlier).doc document available for download below if you have have difficulty getting all previous versions uninstalled.
Please note that the TFS Windows Shell Extensions are not installed by default. Choose Custom when prompted at installation to add the tool to the installed components.
