This sample shows how to use a use an ActiveX control to display presence status and provide real-time collaboration options in Lotus Notes. The control requires that Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 is installed on the client machines.

Note You need:
- Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 on your development and client systems.
- Network access to a system running Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.
- To develop presence-enabled Notes applications: Lotus Domino® Designer Release 5 or higher.
- To run Notes presence-enabled applications: Lotus Notes Release 5 or higher for Windows.

To install this download
- Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
- Double-click the downloaded program file on your hard disk to begin installation.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
Note If you previously installed version 1.0 of this sample, you must first uninstall it using the following instructions before installing version 1.1 of the sample.
To uninstall this download
- On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft Presence Sample for Lotus Notes using the Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 Automation API and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
- Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
