        The Microsoft GroupBoard Workspace template creates a space for a group or team to connect and share information in a collaborative environment, improving team efficiency and productivity. The template helps track team member whereabouts and status, and includes a built-in timecard list and organization chart. Meetings can be scheduled with attendees, and meeting rooms and other resources can be reserved. It also enables members to share phone messages and circulate memos.

        The GroupBoard Workspace 2007 template is available in two versions:
        GBW2007_x86_en-us.exe – 32-bit version of GroupBoard Workspace 2007
        GBW2007_x64_en-us.exe – 64-bit version of GroupBoard Workspace 2007

      • To install this download:

        Note: To complete the following installation, you must have Administrator rights to both the Windows SharePoint Services site and to the root of the server on which it is to be installed.
        1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your server.
        2. Double-click the program file on your hard disk to extract the template files to a location on the server.
        3. In the extracted files, double-click GBW.msi to install the GroupBoard Workspace 2007 template.

        Note: If your Windows SharePoint Services deployment is configured using host header mode, managed path or a port number other than 80, you need to specify the "SITEURL" option in the GroupBoard Workspace setup. This option is only available when you run setup from a command prompt. To run setup with the "SITEURL" option, open a command prompt and type Msiexec.exe /i GBW.msi SITEURL=http://<SharePointURL>/ where "SITEURL" is your top level site URL that you are installing the GroupBoard Workspace template on.

        For example, if the site is using port 8888, the managed path is "/sites", and the top level site is accessible as "http: //WSS:8888/Sites/abc/", you would specify the SITEURL option as: Msiexec.exe /i GBW.msi SITEURL=http://WSS:8888/Sites/abc/

        Instructions for use:

        • When creating a new SharePoint site, the GroupBoard Workspace 2007 template will be displayed in the list of available templates.
        • For additional use instructions, please refer to Help.

        To remove this download:

        Note: To complete the following removal, you must have Administrator rights to both the Windows SharePoint Services site and to the root of the server on which it is installed. This process will not remove the templates from any sites that were already created using this template. It will only prevent users from creating new sites based on the template.
        1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
        2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
        3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft GroupBoard Workspace 2007 and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
        4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
