        This white paper describes the installation and configuration of a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster for a dual boot of Windows® Compute Cluster Server (WCCS)* and Rocks Cluster Distribution (formerly called NPACI Rocks), an open source Linux distribution intended for HPC clusters. The method described focuses on manipulating a node’s master boot record (MBR) and boot loader. You can use this document as a guide for setting up your own dual-boot cluster, although you may need to modify the procedures described here according to your own particular hardware and software configurations.
