      This update fixes an issue where COM-based applications built for HPC Pack 2008 or HPC Pack 2008 SP1 may not work properly when interacting with an HPC Pack 2008 SP2-based cluster or running on an HPC Pack 2008 SP2-based client computer.

    Supported Operating System

    Windows HPC Server 2008, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows XP Service Pack 3

      An HPC Pack 2008 / HPC Server 2008 cluster
      HPC Pack 2008 Service Pack 2 must be installed

  • Install Instructions
      This hotfix need to be run on the headnode and all client machines.

      To start the download, click the Download button and then:
      1) Click Save to copy the download to your computer.
      2) Run the download on the headnode.
      Note: If you have a pair of HA headnodes, run the fix on the Active node and after failover occurs run the fix on the new Active node
      3) Run the download on any computers running the HPC Pack 2008 client utilities.
