  • Install Instructions

      To install this download:
      1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
      2. Uninstall any pre-release versions that may be installed, as per the instructions below.
      3. Double-click the BCMV3PPC.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
      4. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
      Instructions for use:
      1. After you install this download, you can access Business Contacts on your Pocket PC. On the Pocket PC, tap Start, tap Programs, and tap Business Contacts.
      2. Return your Pocket PC to its cradle to synchronize your business contacts with your computer. If necessary, on the Start menu, point to All Programs, then Microsoft ActiveSync, and then click the Sync icon.
      To remove this download:

      • Delete the file BCMV3PPC.exe.

      To remove Business Contacts for Pocket PC from your Pocket PC on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Windows XP Service Pack 2 operating systems, Microsoft ActiveSync must be running and the Pocket PC must be docked. Then:

      1. On the ActiveSync menu, click Tools, and then click Add/Remove Programs.
      2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
        Note: If you encounter problems during the removal process, do the following:
        • On the Pocket PC, tap Start, tap Settings, tap the System tab, and then tap Remove Programs.
        • Tap Business Contacts, and then tap Remove.
      3. Clear the check box next to Business Contacts, and then click OK.
      4. Ensure that your Pocket PC is undocked.
      5. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
      6. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
      7. In the list of currently installed programs, select Business Contacts for Pocket PC, and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
      8. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.

      To remove Business Contacts for Pocket PC from your Pocket PC on Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, please ensure that the device is Connected. Then:
      1. Open Windows Mobile Device Center, click Programs and Services, and then navigate to Add/Remove Programs.
      2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
        Note: If you encounter problems during the removal process, do the following:
        • On the Pocket PC, tap Start, tap Settings, tap the System tab, and then tap Remove Programs.
        • Tap Business Contacts, and then tap Remove.
        • Clear the check box next to Business Contacts, and then click OK.
      3. Ensure that your Pocket PC is undocked.
      4. On the Start menu, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
      5. Double-click Programs.
      6. In the list of currently installed programs, select Business Contacts for Pocket PC, and then click Uninstall. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
      7. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
