      The componentized version of .NET Framework 2.0 installs components in the Windows XP Embedded components database that provide support for .NET Framework 2.0 on the XPe platform.

      .NET Framework 2.0 for Windows XP Embedded requires Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2.

  • Install Instructions
      1. Download XPE_.NET20_SP3_x86_ENU.exe from this page and save.
      2. Execute XPE_.NET20_SP3_x86_ENU.exe on a machine with the Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 tools installed. This will install .NET Framework 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0 on your machine.

      If you require localized support for .NET Framework 2.0, change the language of this page to the language you wish to support.

      Depending on the desired localization language download one or more of the following packages:

      XPE_.NET20_SP3_x86_Tier1_MUI.exe for CHS, CHT, JPN, DEU, KOR, PTB, ESN, FRA
      XPE_.NET20_SP3_x86_Tier2_MUI.exe for ITA, PTG, NLD, NOR, ARA, SWE, DAN, FIN
      XPE_.NET20_SP3_x86_Tier3_MUI.exe for RUS, TRK, HUN, ELL,CSY, PLK, HEB


      Execute the MUI packs on a machine with the Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 tools and appropriate SP2 MUI packs installed.

      These packages will automatically import updated and new .sld files into the current database specified in Component Database Manager. They will also copy new binaries into the Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 QFE Repository folder.

      Some of the .sld files may also require importing new repository objects. The new repositories will be created on the repository root holding the main Windows XP Embedded with Service Pack 2 repository.
