This download contains various sample applications created and tested for use with Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0. Each .zip file contains a readme that explains what is supported with the sample and how to effectively use it.

      The following samples are included:
      • – Uses the Microsoft ActiveX Calendar Control, which allows users to select date restrictions from a calendar form.
      • Customer – Allows a user to sort the Customers and Prospects Lookup windows by the Short Name field. It also allows the user to enter a partial value in the Customer ID field, so the Short Name sorting defaults close to the value entered.
      • – Shows how to use a Microsoft Dynamics GP customer report and VBA along with Excel.
      • – Demonstrates the addition of batch-level security for Sales Order Processing (SOP) transaction entry.
      • – Demonstrates how to use ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) to display the total quantity available for each item in the Item Lookup window.
      • – Demonstrates how to place the Due Date field in the Payables Transaction Entry window so the due date can be viewed. Also explains how to update the value from the Payables Payment Terms Entry window.
      • – Automatically opens the SOP Markdown Entry window after a user enters an item number in the SOP Sales Transaction Entry window. This example also prevents the user from entering flat amounts and requires them to enter only a markdown percentage.
      • – Shows how to use VBA code to make Sales Order Processing (SOP) User Defined fields required when entering a SOP document in the Sales Transaction Entry window.
      • – Shows how to use VBA code to allow the user to display and update Sales Order Processing User Defined fields from the main Sales Transaction Entry window.
      • – Explains how to access data from your VBA code using an ODBC connection to the database. This document uses ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) in its examples for the Microsoft SQL Server database. This download includes individual package files that can be imported into your Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 installation.
      • – Shows how to specify the default sorting order in the Vendors Lookup window to be by vendor name instead of by vendor ID.
