      This paper presents an overview of the three steps a security architect should follow to prepare for IPsec deployment:
      1. Determine the current state of your IT infrastructure.

      2. Plan isolation groups.

      3. Consider operational issues for IPsec-secured traffic.

      Designed for security architects of enterprise organizations that are investigating using IPsec in Microsoft Windows to deploy domain isolation, this paper describes the implications of deploying domain isolation in an enterprise environment and explains how to assess the enterprise environment and plan domain isolation. Read this guide after you have developed a working knowledge of domain isolation.
