        The XNA Framework Redistributable provides the necessary runtime components to execute a game on Windows that was developed using Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express 1.0 Refresh. This release is an update of the 1.0 version which contains improved functionality along with new features. Installation of this runtime is not necessary on systems that already have Microsoft XNA Game Studio Express 1.0 Refresh installed.

        Supported on Microsoft Windows XP SP2 (all editions) and Windows Vista.

        A graphics card that supports DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 1.1 is required. (Shader Model 2.0 is recommended and required for some Starter Kits.)
