    • What you should know before installing Microsoft WCF Data Services October 2011 CTP for .NET Framework 4 and Silverlight 4:
      • If you are intending to use the WCF Data Services client library for Microsoft Silverlight 4 included in this CTP, install the Microsoft Silverlight Tools for Visual Studio 2010 before installing this CTP (available at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=b3deb194-ca86-4fb6-a716-b67c2604a139&displayLang=en).
      • Before running the setup, please make sure Visual Studio is closed.
      • This is a side by side release with the assemblies shipped with the .NET Framework 4 and Silverlight 4.
      • If Visual Studio 2010 is installed, the WCF Data Services integration with Visual Studio will automatically be updated. This means that "Add Service Reference" will generate code based on the October 2011 CTP assemblies when using either the .NET Framework 4 or Silverlight 4.
