Windows Live Movie Maker and Windows Live Photo Gallery work together so it's easy to organize and select the photos and videos you want to use in your next movie.

Windows Live Photo Gallery helps you import photos from your camera, organize them into albums, and edit them so they look their best. Use powerful photo tools to create stunning panoramas, movies, slide shows, and more. You can edit dozens of photos simultaneously, remove blemishes, and fix red eye in a click. When you're ready to share, publish your photos and videos to your favorite websites like Facebook and Flickr directly from Photo Gallery. And with new search features and tools like face recognition, finding photos in your collection is easier than ever.

Windows Live Movie Maker helps you to quickly turn your photos and videos into polished movies. Add special effects, transitions, sound, credits, and captions to help tell your story. Or select the photos, videos, and music you want, and let AutoMovie do the work for you: it applies a beautiful theme that includes transitions, effects, titles, and more—all in less than a minute. Post your movie to your favorite sites—including YouTube, Facebook, Windows Live SkyDrive, and others, right from Movie Maker.

Windows Live Photo Gallery and Movie Maker are part of Windows Live Essentials, which also includes Windows Live Messenger, Mail, Writer, Family Safety, Windows Live Mesh, Bing Bar, Messenger Companion, Microsoft Silverlight, and Outlook Connector Pack (Microsoft Outlook Hotmail Connector and Social Connector Provider for Windows Live Messenger). You can install just Photo Gallery and Movie Maker, or all of Windows Live Essentials.

Note: Clicking Download means you agree to the Microsoft service agreement and privacy statement. The download may include updates to Windows Live programs you already have.
