      PerformancePoint Planning Server Sample Data contains data for the Alpine Ski House (ASH) sample application for PerformancePoint planning. This sample application was designed to illustrate real-world business scenarios. It also contains the “Minimal Install Verification" application that is used for verifying a successful PerformancePoint Planning Server installation and for troubleshooting installation issues.

    Install Instructions
      To install this download:

      1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
      2. Double-click the PerformancePointServer2007PlanningSampleData_EN.exe program file on your hard disk to run the extraction process.
      3. You will be prompted to choose a location to extract the files to, which you can change if you want. To start the extraction, click Unzip.
      4. After the extraction, click OK.
      5. After the extraction is finished, go to the directory that you extracted the files to. Locate and double-click on PLSample.msi to begin the Planning Sample Data installation.

      • After you install this download, refer to the included documentation for information about using Sample Data.

      To remove this download:

      1. On the Start menu, point to Settings and then click Control Panel.
      2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
      3. In the list of currently installed programs, select Microsoft office PerformancePoint Server 2007 Planning Server Samples and then click Remove or Add/Remove. If a dialog box appears, follow the instructions to remove the program.
      4. Click Yes or OK to confirm that you want to remove the program.
