The IntelliTrace collector is a standalone tool that you can use to collect IntelliTrace data from apps that are running on Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, 7.5, or 8.0. You can configure the collector to collect detailed debug information from a running app without modifying it. By using the IntelliTrace debugging features in Visual Studio Ultimate 2012, you can then analyze this data to determine the behavior of the app.
So that you can be sure that you are using the latest version of the standalone collector, you must download a new copy after 90 days.
