If you are upgrading from Office Communicator 2007 R2 Phone Edition to Lync 2010 Phone edition for Polycom CX700 and LG-Nortel IP Phone 8540 telephones: June 2012 cumulative update or later, you must first install this Cumulative update for Lync 2010 Phone Edition for Polycom CX700 and LG-Nortel IP Phone 8540 telephones.
For example, if you have Office Communicator 2007 R2 Phone Edition 3.5.6907.222 for Polycom CX700 and LG-Nortel IP Phone 8540, and you wish to upgrade to the latest update, you will need to:
- Download and apply this February 2012 Cumulative Update
- Then, download and apply the latest Cumulative Update for Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone Edition for Polycom CX700 and LG-Nortel IP Phone 8540
