HTTPREPLAY v2 includes both updated version of STRACE and HTTPREPLAY tools. STRACE is a socket/SSL tracer that is based on the "Detours" utility from Microsoft Research. The tool has been specificaly designed to generate HTTP traces for Internet Explorer but it can be used with many other applications. HTTPREPLAY allows to generate HTTP report from STRACE or Fiddler (*.SAZ) trace. HTTPREPLAY can also be used to "replay" a full navigation scenario from a previously taken trace.
    • Supported Operating System

Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista, Windows Web Server 2008, Windows XP

        Internet Explorer
      • To generate HTTP trace for Internet Explorer, just click the STRACE icon on the desktop and use the new instance of Internet Explorer to reproduce the navigation scenario you need to investigate. The HTTPREPLAY report will be generated and displayed when exiting Internet Explorer. The trace file (*.STRACE) and HTTPREPLAY report (*.HTM) are also created on the user's desktop. To generate HTTP report from STRACE or Fiddler trace, open the STRACE (*.STRACE) or Fiddler (*.SAZ) trace using HTTPREPLAYREPORT.EXE localed in "C:\Program Files (x86)\HTTPREPLAY" directory. To replay a previously generated STRACE (*.STRACE) or Fiddler (*.SAZ) trace using HTTPREPLAY, simply run"HTTPREPLAY trace_filename" from an elevated CMD (by default, HTTPREPLAY is installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\HTTPREPLAY). Once the parsing of the trace is completed, a report is created on the desktop and displayed in IE. You'll then be able to access any URL listed in the report after having configured your proxy to LOCALHOST:81.
