      By using the test controllers and test agents in Agents for Visual Studio 2012, you can scale out load generation, and support distributed data collection and distributed test execution. You can also use test agents to manage testing, workflow, and network isolation for virtual machines that are used with Visual Studio Lab Management.

      • Download a DVD5 ISO image (VS2012.4 Agents enu.iso):
        • To download the image so that you can burn a DVD, choose the Save button
        • Make sure that the CRC and SHA1 hash values of the downloaded ISO image match these:
          • CRC: 77146982
          • SHA-1: B408210F7AF96A6137FEDC7C236A4A0E63657428
      • To install the agent component, navigate to the \TestAgent\ folder, and then open the vstf_testagent.exe file.
      • To install the controller component, navigate to the \TestController\ folder, and then open the vstf_testcontroller.exe file.
