      This update fixes the following issue that may occur when you run HPC SOA jobs on a Microsoft Windows HPC Pack 2008 R2 cluster that contains HA (High Availability) broker nodes. HPC SOA job may fail with “Access Denied” error when running on a cluster with HA broker nodes.
      It is recommended that customers using the HPC Pack with HA Broker nodes apply this hotfix.

      An HPC Pack 2008 R2 / HPC Server 2008 R2 cluster
      HPC Pack 2008 R2 Service Pack 4 must be installed
    • Before applying the update, take all compute nodes (include azure nodes), workstation and unmanaged server nodes offline and wait for all current jobs to drain.

      This hotfix needs to be run on all HA broker node. You may have to restart the broker computer after you apply this hotfix.

      Before uninstalling the update, take all compute nodes (including azure nodes), workstation nodes and unmanaged server nodes offline and wait for all current jobs to drain. Then, uninstall all QFE from every HA broker node.
