      Three separate tools are available:
      Lizard Version 4.1.4174.0 Updated: 8/20/2013 - Lizard helps you to determine the computational performance and efficiency that can be achieved by your HPC Pack cluster. It calculates and reports a peak performance value for your HPC cluster in billions of floating-point operations per second (GFLOPS), and a percentage value for the efficiency that was achieved at peak performance. After running Lizard, you can review the performance and efficiency results that were obtained, and optionally save these results and the parameters that were used to achieve them to a file on your computer.

      MS-MPI Debugger Extension Version 4.2.4400.0 Updated: 1/10/2014 - MS-MPI Debugger Extension (MSMPIDBG) is an extension to Windbg that facilitates debugging of multiple MPI processes at the same time.
      The extension has the following features:
      •Supports the debugging of multiple MPI processes from one debugging session of Windbg/CDB.
      •Supports three major debugging scenarios: launch under the debuggers, attach to running processes, and post-mortem debugging of dump files.
      •Scales reasonably well to over 1000 processes.
      •Merges output from multiple processes to help with problem analysis.
      •Supplies several built-in utilities that provides the user with MPI-specific information such as message queues, MPI handles (datatype, communicator, request), and connectivity information.
      •Back-compatibility with HPC Pack 2012 RTM MS-MPI and HPC Pack 2012 with SP1 MS-MPI.

      ClusterCopy Version 4.2.4400.0 Updated: 1/10/2014 - ClusterCopy helps you easily distribute files around your cluster. Simply put your data files on a single file share, use the ClusterCopy tool, and a series of jobs will be created to rapidly copy the files throughout the cluster, using a tree-based copy system.

      Network Troubleshooting Report Version 4.1.4174.0 Updated: 8/20/2013 - The Network Troubleshooting Report contains a set of diagnostic tests that collect and analyze network information in your HPC Pack cluster to help troubleshoot network issues. If you have an InfiniBand network the report also includes the status and capabilities of the Host Channel Adapter (HCA) cards in that network.
      Note: The InfiniBand information features require the 'vstat.exe' tool. This tool is must be installed separately on each node. Please see the additional information at

  • Supported Operating System

    Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Vista

      An HPC Pack 2012 R2 or HPC Pack with Service Pack 1 cluster.
    • Lizard
      Download the installer and run it on your cluster's head node.
      Notes: This tool can only be run from your cluster's head node.
      If running a high Availability / failover head node, this tool must be run on the 'active' node.
      This tool only supports running on English installations.

      MS-MPI Debugger Extension
      Please install msmpidbg.msi on the cluster's head node and then open the document "install_quickstart.rtf" under the installation folder for further installation instructions on compute nodes and Windows Azure nodes.

      Download the appropriate installer and run it on your workstation.

      Network Troubleshooting Report
