The Lync 2013 Pre-Call Diagnostic Tool (PCD) is a client-based application that allows a user to see how the current state of the network might impact the media quality in an upcoming call. PCD shows a graphical view of your network metrics – Network MOS, Packet Loss and Interarrival Jitter.

      • PCD requires that Unified Communications Web API (UCWA) be installed and configured to support mobile clients in the Lync Server deployment. UCWA is installed with Lync Server.

  • Install Instructions

      To install this download:
      1. Click the download button and save the PreCallDiagTool.msi program file to your hard disk.
      2. Double-click the PreCallDiagTool.msi program file on your hard disk to begin installation.
      3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
