This download contains the following resources described here for customers who are using Microsoft Dynamics Marketing 2016.

Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Connector for Microsoft Dynamics CRM
File name: Microsoft Dynamics Marketing - CRM Connector.msi

The connector lets you share marketing lead data between Microsoft Dynamics Marketing and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
This component is for customers who have provisioned Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online or an on-premises version with at least Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Rollup 12.
Data is transferred using the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Connector for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The connector transfers contacts, companies, and sales-ready scored leads from Microsoft Dynamics Marketing to the sales process in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

After a lead is transferred, the salesperson using Microsoft Dynamics CRM gets information about the related contact, company, campaigns, and interactions. The salesperson can then use this information for behavioral analysis.

To install and configure the connector:
      • Install the CRM Connector solution into your CRM instance
      • Provide a Microsoft Azure namespace
      • For CRM Online, configure the connector from within Microsoft Dynamics Marketing
      • For CRM on-premises, first install the connector service and follow the configuration instructions, and then complete the configuration from within Microsoft Dynamics Marketing

The Microsoft Dynamics Marketing Connector must be installed and configured by an administrator. The connector provides a default mapping for entities and fields to enable the typical business scenario, which includes contacts, companies, accounts, campaigns, and email marketing tasks. An editor for custom mappings is provided in Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.

Language files for localized UI versions for Microsoft Dynamics Marketing
File name: Microsoft Dynamics Marketing - Language packs.msi

This pack installs the UI language files on your local computer that allow you to provision additional UI languages in Microsoft Dynamics Marketing. You can import language files from within Microsoft Dynamics Marketing.

Samples for analytic workbooks using the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing OData feeds
File name: Microsoft Dynamics Marketing - Analytic Workbooks.msi

With the analytic workbook samples you can learn how to use Microsoft Excel with the Power Query add-in to create analytic workbooks. After installation, you'll find the workbooks on your local computer. You may add these workbooks to a SharePoint Workspace and view them in Microsoft Power BI, embed views into the homepage of a Microsoft Dynamics Marketing user and open them in Excel, reconnect to the OData feed of your Microsoft Dynamics Marketing instance and use them as a starting point to create your own analytic views.

      Microsoft Dynamics Marketing SDK
File name: Microsoft Dynamics Marketing - SDK.msi

Run the SDK.msi installer to launch the setup wizard. You will be prompted to accept a Microsoft license agreement. You can change the installation folder location or accept the default location. After selecting Install, the wizard will copy the Microsoft Dynamics Marketing 2016 SDK assembly and sample code into the specified location.
For more information about the sample code see Sample code.
