      Use these solution files in conjunction with the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System, Version 2003 Labs available from the MSDN Office Developer Center (see the Related Resources box to view the lab instructions).

      • Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System, Version 2003

      • Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2003 Standard, or

      • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 Professional, or

      • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Developer, or

      • Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 Enterprise Architect

      • The Visual Basic .NET language and/or the Visual C# .NET language, which can be installed with Visual Studio .NET 2003

      • Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003

  • Install Instructions

      1. To download the lab solution files, click the Download button.

      2. To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location. Then follow the on-screen directions to complete the download.

      3. To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk.

  • Additional Information

      This download contains lab solution files only. To view the lab instructions, see the Related Resources box.

      When applicable, instructions in the labs refer to files by a full path; it is assumed that the download files are installed to the folder C:\Labs.

      Be sure to change the Start Action property of the project to start Word or Excel, and set command line arguments to point to the specific document or workbook that is part of the project. For details, see the "A project with an Output Type of Class Library cannot be started directly" topic in Visual Studio Tools for Office Help.

      Also be sure to grant full trust to the project folder. For details, see the "How to: Grant Permissions to Folders and Assemblies" topic in Visual Studio Tools for Office Help.
