      • Recommended requirements for the server:
        • 2.8 GHz or faster processor(s)
        • 4 GB of RAM
        • 20 GB of available hard disk space (1 GB on the system drive); 150 GB of available hard disk space if planning virtualization management
      • Essentials console only:
        • 1.0 GHz processor
        • 512 MB of RAM

  • Install Instructions
      Download Microsoft System Center Essentials 2010 RC by doing the following:
      1. Download the four files: SCE2010Package1.exe, SCE2010Package2.exe, SCE2010Package3.exe, SCE2010Package4.exe
      2. Run each download to extract the files to the same folder. Example c:\Essentials
      3. Run SetupSCE.exe to install after all four packages have been extracted to the same folder
