      Vintela customers can download this update in order to utilize Vintela Management Extensions with Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 SP1.

      On a computer running Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 and configured as a Management Point, communication to networked clients occurs using only compressed data. This updates allows an SMS management point to send uncompressed data for use with computers that are running Linux and Unix operating systems. For example, this feature allows a management point to exchange uncompressed data with computers that have used Vintela Management Extensions.
