This download includes the documentation for Windows Deployment Services. Some files are presented in both .doc and .chm format for your convenience. This download includes the following:
- Deployment guide (WDS_DeploymentGuide.doc and WDS_DeploymentGuide.chm). This guide contains detailed information about how to configure and manage your Windows deployment.
- Getting started guide (WDS_GettingStartedGuide.doc). This guide contains step-by-step guidance for how to install and configure Windows Deployment Services.
- Technical reference (WDS_TechnicalReference.doc and WDS_TechnicalReference.chm). This document contains information about how the components that make up this server role interact with each other and other technologies, such as Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
- Command-line reference (WDSUTIL_Reference.doc and WDSUTIL_Reference.chm). This document contains the syntax and usage for the WDSUTIL command-line tool.
