      MQbench is a command-line utility that sends messages to a queue and measures the time to complete the entire operation using Microsoft Message Queue Server 1.0. For example, you can determine how long it will take to process a certain number of recoverable messages sent locally using a specified number of threads and internal transactions.
      Note: The utility also includes code to run MQBench across MSMQ-MQSeries Bridge, and you will need to install MQSeries SDK to build the project.

    Windows 2000, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP

      • This utility is written using standard MSMQ 1.0 code, and runs on Windows NT 4.0 computers running MSMQ 1.0, Windows 2000 computers running MSMQ 2.0, and Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 computers running MSMQ 3.0.
      1. Click the Download link to start the download.
      2. Do one of the following:
        • To start the installation immediately, click Open or Run this program from its current location.
        • To copy the download to your computer for installation at a later time, click Save or Save this program to disk.
      3. After you unzip the download, MQBench.zip. Mqbench.exe is in the folder MQBench\MSMQRelease and can be run from there.
      4. You can also use Visual C++ version 6.0 to build the project and modify it as required.
